Benefit and Housing Advice 

Somali Parent supports clients to help solve their enquiries regarding benefits and housing issues. We help clients to apply for benefits as well as filling forms for Personal Independent Payment (PIP), Attendance Allowance (AA), and Disability Living Allowance. SP helps also with the work capability assessment questionnaires. In housing, we advocate for clients to communicate their concerns and resolve issues including rent in arrears, overcrowding, repairs, mould, and dump, and help clients with forms including applying for rehousing on grounds of health. We aim to support clients and give them information and guidance and signposting them to specialist agencies to help them solve their queries. Our advice is not legal advice is informal advice.
