Year 10 & 11 Maths and Science Support Programme

The programme provides additional online Maths and Science tuition for Year 10 and Year 11 students to help improve attainment, confidence, and academic performance.

Lessons are delivered by A-Level and university students in small groups, either on a one-to-one basis or with up to four students per group, ensuring personalised support and effective learning.

The project also works closely with parents, providing guidance and resources to help them support their child’s learning at home.

In addition to supporting younger students, the project aims to create opportunities for A-Level and university students to give back to their community by sharing their knowledge, skills, and experiences. Through volunteering and mentoring, they develop leadership, communication, and teaching skills while making a positive contribution to the educational success of younger learners. The project promotes community cohesion, intergenerational support, and a culture of volunteering, encouraging young people to play an active role in strengthening and supporting their community.
