Somali Parents

Our mission is to empower Somali parents in London to enable them to be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills needed to effectively support their children to achieve their potential in life and participate meaningfully in society as confident citizens, knowing their rights and responsibilities.

Our vision is to make the Somali Parents a successful organization that effectively addresses key issues concerning the Somali community including education, health, family matters, sports and youth activities, and meaningful integration in mainstream society. We are committed to seeing our community be successful citizens in this country.

• Advocacy for parents and students
• Promote high-quality education in the home and school.
• Promote the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of Somali children towards the attainment of good character and being good citizens.
• Provide parents with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to advance the education of their children.
• Provision of information, advice, and guidance  in welfare benefit/housing matters
• Work with all stakeholders including local authorities, schools, police, and other voluntary organizations for the development and integration of our community.
• Promote and maintain the cultural identity and heritage of Somalis and advance the education of the public on all aspects of the history of Somalia and Somaliland.
